چکیده

Udder health is a key factor for dairy cows’ productivity and welfare. This study presents the first insight into udder after introduction of automatic milking systems in Greece. Four farms with Holstein cows enrolled study. Data from their records were utilized, January 2020 to December 2021. Variables employed assessment cow daily milk yield (DMY), number milkings / cow, individual somatic cell count (SCC), proportion elevated (ELSCC) month, chronically ELSCC (ChrELSCC) month new (NewELSCC) cases per 100 month. Two years’ mean frequency was 2.72 day, ranged 2.47 2.98, decreased Mean SCC 193,000 cells/mL, 70,000 260,000 increased DMY 37.2 kg, 29.6 43.6 kg. Heifers had lower than early late lactation stages. On monthly basis, 37.06 % 40.06 2021, respectively, most them chronic. The highest observed stage. Fresh presented NewELSCC both years Overall four this better conventional Precision farming should utilize data data-driven management, monitoring ELSCC, detection, treatment prevention infections.
